When selling a house the last thing you think about is how you are going to get all of your furniture and possessions to your next destination. Thankfully, I received a mailer from Braun and didn't throw it out. There are so many things that can go wrong with the move. Damage to your house or damage to your items. With Braun they do a very professional move. They put down carpets on your floor, protect your doors, professionally wrap all of your furniture and properly handle all of your boxes. They even packed some picture frames with their own boxes, redid our plasma TV into a better fitting box than the one we bought and carefully packed our lamps. They used plenty of plastic wrap to keep all of our items together. They wrapped all of our furniture with blankets. They then give you a complete list of items loaded for your move. It was a pleasure working with Robin who coordinated the whole move. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends. 10 Stars!!!!!! Thank you.

Elsa, my moving coordinator was fantastic in scheduling and re-scheduling, as my closing date was changed twice. But the best was yet to come, as the all-star team of 5 movers led by team leader / driver Johnny, packed, loaded and filled two trucks in a day and a half, and moved us from the Berkshires in Western MA to Scarborough ME by the ocean, where they spent a third day unloading us, it all went smoothly. Not a thing broken or damaged (though it is still a good idea to purchase insurance) . And Tom and Robin gave us many good suggestions on how to save costs, as we were able to reduce the move cost by $4,000 from the initial estimate simply by doing much of the easier advance packing ourselves. Although my move was only 4 miles, door to door, it wasn't the easiest move because my husband was in the hospital and I had to do this all myself. The men were professional and polite. I will say that they were late in getting to me because of truck trouble but they called to let me know they would be late. Four uniformed moving professionals transported us three towns away from our old home to the new one yesterday. They worked well together, were friendly, and seldom took a break. Before leaving, the foreman came to ask if there was anything that had been placed in wrong location, and gladly moved a few items at our request. They delivered us and left us smiling after several hours of their hard work. The estimate of costs and time were accurate. And most especially, the estimate was several hundred dollars lower than two local movers. When we were looking for a mover, we couldn't understand how the local movers could give us estimated costs over the phone after only hearing a telephone description of how many rooms and furniture we were moving. Braun sent a representative who did a walk-through of the house and provided a computer generated estimate. These guys know their stuff. We are pleased to recommend Braun Moving Company, and, God forbid we ever have to move again, Braun gets the job.

My mother recently passed away in NY, and as such, there was a multitude of household items that were certainly worth keeping in the family. The experience started with a swift and courteous sales department, who guided me thru the upcoming process, which was provided to me from start to finish. The truck was on time, the movers friendly, and considerate of my needs... which fluctuated throughout the day, all without a hitch. Some precious belongings were brought to my home, including a seamless move of my mothers beloved piano. The rest were brought to storage in the main warehouse of the company itself. To begin looking for movers I went on line. Got dozens of phone calls and finally picked a mover. They never showed up. Talking to my neighbors,they told me to call Braun Moving as they had a great experience with that company. I was, by this time very frustrated but Robin was so organized and professional that all my nervousness went away. In my case, I was moving 1,000 miles from CT to GA and had a specific timeline since I was in CT only briefly. Robin found an opening and the crew arrived on time and ready to work. On to Georgia! When the truck arrived, the driver John, was very prepared and had arranged for a crew to unload the truck into our storage building. I cannot recommend the service and professionalism of Braun Moving more highly! Everything about our 2 moves, one local, one long distance, were handled impeccably. I would never hesitate to use their services again. We had just moved my mother into assisted living from Ft Lee NJ to Teaneck NJ using a "highly recommended family co." which left us feeling hurt, exploited, ... and with a bill DOUBLE the estimate (plus I was left to break down all the boxes until midnight because they wouldn't take them away as promised!) Braun came to the rescue for 2 additional moves -- one from NJ to Ct and another NJ to Atlanta, Ga with rugs and artwork. 1) Tom's estimates stuck. 2) Elsa was always there answering my questions, holding my hand (Is there moving co. ptsd?), 3) Robin, who arranged the artwork move to Atlanta, somehow pulled some strings to get us onto a truck leaving 3 weeks before the original best date; and 4) Rob got everything packed, folded, and loaded so quickly with his 2 crew members that I finally felt the lifting of despair.... :) The crew was really nice, fast, focused on task, and respectful of the time and posessions involved. They worked through until everything was done just right. Placed the furniture, removed the wrapping unless it was going into storage -- When I thanked one guy for being so careful about not hitting a wall while carrying a big sofa down a twisting stair, he just smiled implying that this was the easy stuff... :) Thank you all so much.

My wife and I recently moved from CT to AL and from the estimator Tom to Robin our coordinator to our driver Bill, we were extremely pleased with this move. We have had several moves that didn't go so well and we would like to say to anyone that reads this review that they should not hesitate to use this company. The loaders and packers on both ends of the move were excellent and they didn't damage either home moving all our stuff and there was a lot of stuff. It will take us some additional time to get to opening all the boxes to check for any damage but at this point we have not found anything damaged that we have unpacked. In the unlikely event we find something broken or damaged I am sure we will be treated fairly by Braun as they have all thru the process.
